Herb Walk: Pt. Reyes • June 22 • 11-2pm

We are blessed to live in one of the most biologically rich areas in the world, from wetlands and estuaries to coastal scrub and chaparral to grasslands and redwood forests. Each ecosystem fosters a diversity of edible and medicinal plants that have been used as food and medicine for time immemorial. Learn to identify our abundance of California native plants and wild weeds and explore their traditional and current medicinal uses.

Bring a notepad and pen, snacks and water and appropriate outdoor attire. Learn to see the world around you with a new understanding and a deeper connection to the natural world.

We'll meet at the Bear Valley trailhead at Pt. Reyes Visitor's Center at 11am. More information about the park can be found here. Note that pets are not permitted on this trail.
