Three Class Series on Saturdays from 10-4pm: May 3rd, 17th and 31st.

Throughout history, humans have used aromatic plants to assist healing of the psyche and spirit as well as the physical body. The aromas of essential oils offer numerous benefits, with different parts of plants and trees carrying unique energetic messages and affinities for particular body systems. Through our sense of smell, essential oils can help us tap into deeper parts of ourselves to inspire clarity and transformation. 

In this class series, we will explore the different energic properties and benefits of essential oils, taking a deep dive into key oils of each botanical category. Through both lecture and guided meditations, we will learn how these oils affect us on the level of mind, body and spirit. You’ll learn how to build your own ‘energetic tool kit’ of essential oils and discover affirmations to pair with each aroma. You’ll experience first-hand the profound effects of aromatherapy, helping to encourage opening, harmonizing, embodiment, receptivity and release. You’ll make two rollerball dilutions of your chosen oils at each class to take home and work with to deepen your experience.

 May 3: Tree, Wood & Resin Oils

May 17: Root, Rhizome & Herbaceous Oils

May 31: Flower, Seed & Fruit Oils

Logistics: The classes are held at Gathering Thyme in Petaluma and run from 10am – 4pm with an hour lunch break. Class size is limited to 12 students. Register early to ensure your space.

Cost: $300 for the series of 3 classes, plus $20 materials fee per class to be paid directly to the instructor for two rollerball dilutions of your chosen essential oils to take home and work with.

Instructor Bio:
Robin Lander, MIM, CHT, is a Clinical Aromatherapist, Wellness Educator, Intuition Medicine Practitioner® and Certified Hypnotherapist. As a Sonoma County native, she has served locally as a practitioner in integrative health clinics, a teacher of clinical herbalism and aromatherapy, and as a consultant for nurses and hospitals. Robin is a NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist® and has over 20 years of experience in the natural products industry as a formulator, educator, sourcing and marketing specialist and consultant.
